FSxN supports FlexCache as an origin volume

FSxN as a FlexCache Origin

Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP (FSxN) is supported as a FlexCache origin volume. Edge caches (e.g., on-premises FAS systems) can peer with an FSxN cluster and mount FlexCache volumes backed by FSxN origin volumes.

This enables a hub-and-spoke architecture where unstructured data lives in AWS (FSxN) and remote sites access it through local FlexCache volumes on ONTAP hardware, receiving LAN-speed read performance for cached data with WAN-penalty only on cache misses.
